武汉大学，总有着一种宁静致远，神秘恬静的气息，珞珈山路一路向东，到了八一路，逼仄的视线一下子开阔了，永远熙攘喧闹的丁字路口，似乎并没有一丝扬起的浮尘，眼前就是武汉大学。上世纪90年代初仿照老牌楼设计的正门，八棱柱牌楼顶端书写着“国立武汉大学”。如果从左往右念，就是“学大汉，武立国”，有人就说，这恐怕是中国最有气魄的校名了。

Wuhan University never fails to ooze an air of quiet, profundity, and mystery. Take Luojiashan Road eastward until Bayi Road where the horizon suddenly broads up; there, at the “T” shaped intersection forever so hustling and bustling yet without a particle of dust, stands Wuhan University. If read from left to right, it reads “Learn from the Han Dynasty, establish the nation.” Then it is dubbed by some as the most imposing university in China.

珞珈山路笔直延伸到校园里，在路边颇具古旧味的站牌下停留片刻，1块钱投币上了校园巴士，靠车窗坐下，下面要做的，就是放轻松眯起眼，任那夹杂着湖边水汽的微风吹乱头发。如果脚力无限，那就走吧，管你疾行慢游，不知不觉就上了山，半山腰的樱花大道，一年四季都是景观，老斋舍四个单元顺着山势一路排开，三个阔挺的门楼依附着山势，颇有些磅礴的气气概。各层宿舍分别以千字文中的“天地玄黄，宇宙洪荒。日月盈昃，辰宿列张”命名。到了三四月，樱花云海间，老斋舍灰色的调子，沉稳厚重。因气流的作用，樱花瓣漫天飞舞，昂起头展开双臂，花瓣划过皮肤，柔软，有些亲昵。

Luojiashan Road takes you straight to the campus. Wait for a moment under the stop sign tingled with some quaintness before taking a bus to the university. Sitting close to a window, the only thing you have to do next is relax yourself, half open your eyes, and let the gentle breeze mixed with the lake vapor ruffle your hair. If you are an active walker, you may walk your way to the hill to get a wonderful view on the hillside road that changes all the year around. In line with the hill formation, four units of houses are lined along the road; three spacious and towering gateways, hugging the hill, are quite imposing. In March and April, oriental berry blossoms set in the sea of clouds and the solemn grey ancient houses. The berry blossom petals, sent floating in the air, will stroke gently your skin if you raise your head and open your arms.
